Designing and Deploying a Private Cloud Provider

We partnered on a complex infrastructure initiative in the EU region that required full-scale data centre development and private cloud deployment. The goal was to establish a modern, scalable, and secure environment capable of supporting multiple mission-critical projects.
Software Development

About the project

A dynamic European technology holding company operates across multiple sectors and focuses on digital solutions. Their portfolio includes software platforms, data systems, and digital services running across several business units. This diversity of operations made this engagement unique in both scale and architectural complexity. Rather than adjusting existing systems, we had to design and deliver a data centre and cloud ecosystem from the ground up.

Client's needs

The company needed a modern and reliable infrastructure to support rapid innovation. They looked for expertise in data centre architecture, workload migration, and DevOps practices to ensure consistent performance and smooth scalability across projects. Another key requirement was full observability, with tools providing real-time visibility into system operations.

How We Delivered

Data centre buildout

We began by building the core data centre for the private cloud provider. The network architecture was designed around a spine-leaf topology, ensuring both resilience and scalability.

Private cloud deployment

On top of the new cloud infrastructure, we deployed high-availability Kubernetes clusters with GPU-enabled nodes. This made the platform ready for compute-intensive scenarios, such as AI, ML, or advanced analytics.

Cloud orchestration

We implemented cloud orchestration and virtualisation to minimise downtime and simplify adoption. This approach allowed the business to transition to the new infrastructure while operating as usual.

DevOps automation

We introduced pull-based CI/CD pipelines as part of our DevOps services to reduce deployment times by 50%. This automation enabled teams to focus on feature delivery rather than manual infrastructure management.

Observability

For monitoring, we set up low-level metrics and alerting with Prometheus and Grafana, complemented by higher-level logging and analytics. We started with OpenSearch and later switched to the ELK stack for greater consistency. These tools gave the client real-time visibility into system performance and stability.

Solving complex technical challenges

Building a private cloud provider meant creating custom solutions without ready-made blueprints. Our team conducted extensive design sessions and iterative testing. Networking proved particularly demanding, but through collaboration and precision, we achieved a reliable platform capable of carrying critical workloads.

Business Impact

The new private cloud became a secure and dependable foundation for the client’s operations. Teams can now release updates faster and more consistently, while advanced monitoring keeps operations transparent and controlled.
The platform now supports AI and machine learning workloads, ensuring the infrastructure remains ready for future innovation. It gives the client full confidence in performance, scalability, and long-term reliability.
