About the Project

BP serves as a comprehensive platform for stakeholders to learn about BP's operations, sustainability efforts, and corporate activities, as well as for investors and potential employees to gather relevant information.

Our client, BP, sought to elevate their online platform with enhanced functionalities and user experiences. As a team of front-end React developers, the goal was to introduce new features that align with BP's brand image, drive user engagement, and offer seamless navigation across various sections of their website.

Real-Time Energy Dashboard:

We developed a sophisticated dashboard using React and Redux, enabling BP's customers to monitor real-time energy consumption metrics. Integrated GraphQL for efficient data retrieval from backend systems, displaying personalized analytics, energy usage trends, and emissions data in visually engaging charts and graphs.

Progressive Web Application Features:

We transformed the website into a PWA using Next.js for server-side rendering and React components. Implemented Service Workers for offline functionality, push notifications, and enhanced performance. Employed Tailwind CSS for a mobile-first approach, ensuring optimal user experiences across devices.

Interactive Sustainability Hub:

A dedicated section offering multimedia content (videos, articles, infographics) highlighting BP's sustainability initiatives, envionmental projects, and corporate social responsibility efforts.
