Frontend for a custom FinTech app
Working with React, JavaScript, SCSS, Redux, Bootstrap, Axios, and Moment.js, we were responsible for building and refining complex data-driven features while focusing on performance and scalability. We collaborated with product and design teams to create functional components that supported efficient releases.
Data visualisations for real-time analytics
A major part of development involved creating interactive charts for financial insights visualisation. After evaluating several libraries like Recharts, D3.js, and Chart.js, we selected Plotly.js for its flexibility and performance. We then developed modular visual components with advanced styling and dynamic tooltips, enabling users to interact with large volumes of financial data.
Bug fixing
The project required us to resolve long-standing bugs that were affecting the app’s stability. By improving logic, structure, and responsiveness, we boosted the platform’s functionality and reliability.
Performance optimisation
Given the app’s scale and the volume of financial data processed, we focused on performance tuning at the component level, restructured slow-rendering views, and applied targeted optimisations to handle large datasets effectively within the frontend layer.
